How to send pages to subscribers

  Can I use the Subscriptions widget to send page content as well as post content?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To get my site to look the way I want it, I’ve made my HOME a “page” rather than a blog post. I aim to make this front page the main story of the week and so I wish to include it in the subscriber alerts.
  The problem is that I can’t see how I can configure the Jetpack subscription widget to do that. Can anyone offer advice?
  The reason I don’t make HOME a post ‘page’ is because I put up posts every other day and don’t want them messing up the design of the home page’s main story of the week.
