how to set an icon at my blog URL

  i noticed a wordpress blog with an icon of his/her own instead of the wordpress icon at the URL typing space.. can i set it myself and can anyone teach me? is there a specific term for that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  “Blavatar”. Under Settings>General (called “Blog picture” there).

  i’ve done that.. but still the crop area ain’t move to the image.. hmmm, just forget it.. i’ve gave up already.. :(

  Do the cookie dance and try again: log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart computer. Sometimes that fixes these weird little errors

  As I recall, the “Blavatar” cropping is sort of touchy, even when I had it the correct size. Eye-hand-mouse coordination IS sort of touchy. It may have changed since I last did it, but, well hope it works for you.

  thanks a lot guys.. i finally got through.. lol.. and for those who experienced the same problem (check out http://marsolos.wordpress.com/2009/02/20/8-cropping-on-my-blavatar/ ), yes!! it is a touchy @ head-spinning thing.. lol.. i just click enter and as a result, it move to the next step and then i just click ‘save’.. that’s all.. :)

  I’ve noticed cropping works best with taller pictures rather than horizontal pictures. If that makes any sense. lol

  I was just going to say the same as pornstarbabylon.
  Find a longer photo rarther than a wider one, It crops better.
