How to set comment to require my approvel before a reply appears on the page

    I’ve looked and it seems I either enable comments (which I think is the same as “reply”) or don’t. What I’d like to do is permit people to comment but prevent their comments/replies from appearing on the page with the post until I have approved their appearing. The choices which support gives me seem to be enable (in which case the replies appear until I remove them) and disable (in which case the reader can’t reply at all).
    How do I set up what I’d like?

    Hi there,

    You can change that in your site’s Discussion Settings, by adjusting the comment moderation settings there.

    Under Before a comment appears you can check the box next to “Comment must be manually approved.” That way, each comment will be held for your approval before it appears on the post.
