How to set featured images?

I can’t get wise how to set small 4 or more featured images with text as it is on original theme? I try via Gallery, but as soon as I ad an text it goes out of frames un no passible to separate bold letters as headlines. All goes letters go in one line.
If I try to set feature images, it accept only one not four as i need. If you set one by one, its not possible to get them in one horizontal line. After adding the text all appears in vertical line. The same happens with with bold letters, all in one line.
I think the author of this theme is an amateur, and make all customers idiots.
WP has full page of themes which are not ready to use. -
I hope to get these themes to easer my work, but I am very confused with. I never get any clear help from WP. If you have read instruction and don’t understand how to use current theme you ask to help. Unfortunately, your amateurs don’t want to understand and provide you with the same instructions what you didn’t understand. Let’s say, to get rid of you. Things which must be easy to understand, WP likes to complicate. Already waiting for answer for two weeks…?!

Hello persijs!
First, you need to create a few more posts and publish it, to see the results in your site look more like the themes demo page.
To add those featured posts on your front page you have to follow the instructions on the themes page, I checked your site and I didn’t find any configuration like it’s instructed. If you go here:

You will see “Setting Featured and Primary Posts”, where it says:
Your first five posts with the tag set above and a Featured Image will show up in the featured area
Or:
If you haven’t assigned a Featured Content tag to any posts, Expound will display up to five sticky posts in the featured posts area
So, first, you need to create new posts, define a tag or set sticky posts to see that result on your blog.
That’s not done using Galleries, those are posts with Featured Images, the content below the images are the post title and the post content.
And please, stop creating duplicated threads. We can help you through this one.

Please see my site. There are not any sight of Tags & Categories after publish / update. I have set up five items in the line, its good + black FlagTags – Media,Music,Explore,Cityscape,Collection, – update – no any sigh of that. But with text alas, there aren’t bold and simple letters. All goes in one sentence. As soon as you want (with click) separate the bold letters from the capture, cursors goes out and start writing text not under the item. If you have longer text, it goes, in a border of side item…
I can not get items on the home page. It appears only when click Continue, I need all five or more small items on HOME page + featured image and text, what is already prepared and as it is on original Theme. I have try to set five items via Gallery, ….?
I have cleaned Browser box as you recommended, – all the same no differences. I have tons of materials, see http://www.persijs.wordpress.com

I have understand nothing. Now, I cant get small five items and one big photo with article on one page, – Home page as it is on original. It appears on after click Continue, and than you see only half of main picture. Nothing of tags which were updated, appears. The text goes out.. of borders…

Your next support is now, how to find answer? If before you just click on help, than you write and on the same page you got answer. Now you see total absurd, you prepare text, submit and it has gone. You have to guess where it is, via forum, then other clicks and etc., while find right file. It is total absurd of absurds…

I checked your site and found that you created the tags, but you didn’t assigned to your posts. You can check how to do that on the link below:
Don’t worry, you will not lose any content in your blog, unless you actually delete something. I saw that you changed the theme too, you were using Expound, and now you’re using the theme Hero. I suggest you don’t change the theme until we finish the setup you’re trying to do. Because themes work in different ways, and you need to stick with one to be able to design your site like you want.

With this theme you need to create a front page and set as static, as follows:
To get started, create a new page and assign it the Front Page template under Page Attributes. Then set that page to be your Static Front Page.
To create a slider on the front page you need to follow the instructions:
Featured Content Slider: Add a tag under Appearance → Customize → Featured Content. Use this tag on posts with a featured image, and they’ll show up in the slider.
And for the three boxes you have to follow the instructions:
Promotional Callouts: Under ‘Home Promos’ in the Customizer, choose a tag name from the dropdowns for the promo areas. Tag posts with these tags to have them show up in the three callout areas.
All the instructions above are in the theme page. And all works with tags, so, first you need to set the tags on your posts.
