How to Set Featured Post in Slideshow
-
I am using Triton Lite and include a slideshow in each post. I used to be able to set which image appears on the home page version of the post, but now I cannot find where to do that. A random photo is chosen for the front page posting, and often it’s not the one I want… can you help? I tried making the post sticky, per instructions, but still don’t have the option to make a featured image in the post’s slideshow…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
if I understand your question correctly you need help to choose the featured image you want to have shown as the sticky image?
When you are writing a post, you should be able to set your categories and tags etcs there right? When I scroll down the page I can see under the Tags section the Featured Image section. There you can upload an image and it will appear on your front page :)
Hope that was the answer to your question :)
Take care, Rebecca -
Not quite. When I set the featured image for the post, it gets added as a large image filling the top of the home page. I just want to set which image from the post’s slideshow shows up in the smaller area where my top stories are. I used to be able to set this within the image gallery.

I am also using Triton Lite and now, since Feb 14th, for my last two posts, there was no image at all displaying on home page!
I’ve never selected a feature image for posts because I didn’t want them to show as header image.
But now after reading your entry, I went back to these last posts and found out that there is this option indeed: after selecting add media, there’s the option ‘Set Featured Image’ on the left column – and there we can select the image that displays on home page! -
