How to set front page as my post page ?

  in my site i can only set a static page as my front page. But i have Homepage but that page is also a post page, so if i make front page as my recent post page then the homepage is contains nothing. i cant understand. i have to set my post page as my homepage with the home menu. please help me!!

  Hi,

  The front page on https://karpomkarpipom.wordpress.com/ is a static page (“About us”). You’ve assigned the static page “Home” to display your posts page. This setup is very different from the suggested one at the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page. In the support page, “Home” is set as the homepage, and another page, optionally, is created to display posts (“Blog”).

  so if i make front page as my recent post page then the homepage is contains nothing.

  I don’t follow you here. If you assign the front page to display your posts, then the “Home” page will be your front page, and it will display your posts.

  Yes I agree this . But what I want is, I want to make my homepage and postpage as one. Is it possible to make ..

  Hi,

  Actually I set the “About us” page as my static home page and “Home” as my post page. But now tried to change the “Home” as my front page, when I tried to change. The front page displays my recent posts but the Home page contains nothing. What can I do. Can you able to understand me?

  Now I got you. Here’s the problem…and the solution:
  Problem
  On most themes, the “Home” tab in the default menu links to the website URL. By default the front page of the website will display the posts page, so the “Home” tab typically links to the posts page. The Shine On theme doesn’t have a “Home” tab in the default page menu. You’ve added a “Home” tab by creating a static page titled “Home.”

  Solution
  Create and activate a custom menu. Create a custom link in the menu with the navigation label “Home” with the link URL https://karpomkarpipom.wordpress.com/ (your default homepage).

  Don’t include a link to the static page titled “Home” in the custom menu. You may switch the status of that page to draft, if you think you might want to change back to a static front page in the future, or you may trash it. You’ll always be able to create a new static page titled “Home” should you want one.
