how to set image as banner?

I need help setting a particular image as the banner on my blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need a link to your blog, starting with http, and more specific info about the banner. Do you want it to be your header image at the top of the blog, do you want to put it in your post column, etc. Where, exactly, are you wanting to put the image?

The image set as my latest post is the image i want to set as my banner.
i want it to be set at the top of the blog as the header. -
That cannot be done with a flexible width theme such as the one you are using since the image will stretch horizontally with the width of the theme (browser window) or if you set it not to stretch, then with wider browser window settings you will have blank spaces to the left and right of the header image.

If you want that image as a header (banner) then you will have to switch to a fixed width theme with the custom header option. At appearance > themes, you can filter the theme display by “custom header” and get only those themes that have the custom header option.
