How to set my blog so that authors don't receive personal info about commenter?

I have a blog for a group of people, and want to set it so that when the authors of the blog comment on each others’ posts, the post author can’t receive an email displaying the commenter’s personal information (email address, IP address, etc).

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • You can’t. That’s how comments work on WordPress.com. If a contributor has access to the dashboard (i.e. is an invited, registered user of the blog), they’ll be able to see that info for comments on their own posts (contributors and authors), and editors and admins can see that info for all comments, whether they’re the post author or not.

You can disable comment email notifications for the blog under Settings ->Discussion, but registered users will still be able to view that information when they edit their own posts on the dashboard.
