How to set site so main page shows only part of post, then "continue reading"

  Hi folks,

  How do I configure my site so that the main page functions like a blog, showing only the first part of each post, with a link to “continue reading” for folks to click and shift to a page with the entire post and comment section? If it matters, I’m using the twenty ten theme. I know of other wordpress sites using that theme which function as I want mine to – for example, wattsupwiththat.com
