how to set the homepage ?

  I like to use the theme Mayland ,and I have seted it as it required :

  uses a static homepage. Follow these steps to achieve the same look:

  Publish two pages and give them titles that are easy to remember, like “Home” and “News.” To publish a page, navigate to My Site → Pages → Add Page.
  Next, go to Customize → Homepage Settings.
  Select “A static page” and choose the two pages you published in Step #1 — “Home” and “News” — as your Homepage and Posts page, respectively.
  You can give your site a more streamlined look by hiding the static homepage title. To do this, scroll down to the bottom, and check Hide Homepage Title.
  Click the Publish button on top to save your changes.

  but the homepage is not like the theme homepage, it just like blogs only one column, not 3 column like the theme demo .

  What is the question ,how to make it the homepage the same with its demo ?

  Hi there!

  The demo site for that theme is basically a static homepage that displays images in CoBlock’s Gallery Block:

  You can also use the standars Gallery Block and set it to your liking:
