How to set up DNS records email, when WP is registrar and domain points elsewher

    Hello WP Support,

    I purchased my domain (ebonyyvonnediaz.com) from you and then mapped it to wix.com as my website.

    My previous custom dns records associated with my outlook.com email no longer work because on my WordPress acct it says my name servers must point to WordPress. However, this is problemmatic because if I change the name servers back my wix account will be useless, as visitors will be instead directed to WordPress.

    The main issue is that I want/need to set up my email to show that I am receiving and responding to mail from my custom domain…and outlook is saying the MX record needs to be updated by my registrar, which is you…so please help!!

    Hi Ebony – Your mail records need to be set up wherever your name servers are pointed. So you’ll need to set them up on Wix’s end. Wix has instructions on how to do this here:
