how to set up estore

  trying to set up e store. not apparent if I can do this with free blog, or with upgrade to pro.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No, we cannot have a store on WordPress.com. The pro upgrade still means you are hosted here on wp.com.

  I have a domain name through godaddy that I am forwarding the wordpress/blogspot to so it comes through as a regular .com.

  Am I already self hosting? but storing backups etc.

  No. You are not self-hosting. You are mapping your domain name to your site hosted on WordPress.com.

  The domain mapping is like a “transporter” bringing your readers to the site you have hosted on WordPress.com, so you are still restricted to the TOS here.

  If you want an e-store, then you will have to find a company to host your site, you can use your domain name, and you can use WordPress.ORG software to make it function.
