  Not sure where to put the tracking code on my site or how for that matter.

  Hi there !

  Unfortunately, you cannot configure Google Analytics with WordPress.com sites since you can’t access theme files to enter your tracking code.

  However, you already have installed statistics provided by WordPress that you can access through this link : https://wordpress.com/my-stats/

  You can see there Unique Visitors, Visits, Referer Sites, Search Engine Requests, Countries, and more. You can learn all about it by clicking here : http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/
