  Here at WordPress.COM our host does not provide any specific means or support for setting up paid subscriptions. If you have a Business plan upgrade http://wordpress.com/pricing/ you may use plugins for that purpose. The only means of using a secure payment is available through the Business plan https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/ or the Premium plan. See also: http://en.support.wordpress.com/simple-payments/

  Provided you do not have a Business plan on the site, and you are selling only what you yourself make or a providing service that you personally provide on a WordPress.COM site, or you are asking for donations please read on.

  PayPal – Know that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
