How to share my site stats

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi! I would like to share the stats of my WordPress site with other members in the team. But do not want everyone to have my wordpress.com logins.
Is there a way to share my stats? I use Jetpack, site stats. Which links to WordPress.com.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi! How about making them Contributors, instead? http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#contributor

They won’t have your wordpress.com login, but they’ll have their own. They also won’t be able to publish posts without your (or another Administrator’s) permission, or make any changes to the blog’s settings. They will, however, be able to see your site’s Stats, which is your objective. :)

    Thanks Sarahcada
Most of the other team members are admins already. So they can see some of the stats on the Jetpack dashboard in wordpress. I want them to be able to log in to WordPress.com and view all the webstats there… but without my login details.

So I guess I am asking if a wordpress.com account can be linked to more than one username.

Do you mean that, right now, they use YOUR wordpress.com login details? You should make separate user accounts for them on your blog using the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/

Also: please note that this forum is for wordpress.COM blogs. Since you seem to have a self-hosted blog, you can ask for further help in the wordpress.ORG forums. (You can read on the difference here: en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/)

The folks over in the .org forums will be more than glad to help you. https://wordpress.org/support/

No, they each have their own user logins.

They reason I am on Worpress.com, is because the stats for the site is hosted here… through the Jetpack plugin.

You can try the solution outlined in this thread.

You’re right in saying that Jetpack is indeed by WordPress.com, but .com and .org installations sometimes handle plugins differently. Such is true for Jetpack.

    I hope this helps.

    Much appreciated Sarahcada!

The tread you posted was useful, but it only dealt with the Jetpack stats you can view on the dashboard. What I am looking for the the in-dept stats that is available when you click on the button on the dashboard under the following prompt:
“Did you know you can view enhanced stats on WordPress.com? Button>Show me”
This requires a login to WordPress.com.
And it is this login I am referring to. Ideally I would like everyone to have their own login details for WordPress.com – and see these stats.
