How to share revenue from ads by coupon on our site.

Why are ads by coupon drop down appearing on our site without our consent and notification. It is absolutely wrong. For the fact that the blog is free does not ,mean it should be used to advertise things we really dont want to see on our site. In time past, we tried to apply for ads to be shown on our site several times but we were told that we need to have at least 25,000 page views before this can be done and moreover, we sometimes are not allowed to post useful websites on our site, why are ads now being displayed all of a sudden and we are also not aware of. Please how do we share the revenue from ads coupon drop down on our site as it takes great effort to maintain our community , no hard feelings here, its just our right to know and also, we feel we should have the right to know the type of ads that will be placed even though we are currently under the free blog and hope to upgrade soon. Our site is http://www.blastyourproject.wordpress.com

    tl;dr

The Terms of Service that you agreed to spell out the fact that WordPress.com puts ads on your blog, and you are okay with that.

You may also wish to review the types of blogs which are allowed here vs the types of blogs which are not. Before your blog gets suspended.

    Reply to raincoaster,

    Dear RAiN,

Thanks for your mail, but it still didn’t answer the question which is above. HOW CAN WE SHARE FROM THE INCOME OF ADS PLACED ON OUR SITE.
Wordpress is a fantastic host, better than blogger/blogspot. But how can we share from the advert placed on our site. Placing advert is not the problem, but we should be able to determine the types we want, where we. Want them placed, how frequent we want them which blogger have.

IF YOU PLACE ADS ON YOUR SITE YOUR SITE WILL BE SUSPENDED. WORDPRESS.COM DOES NOT GIVE THE BLOGGER A SHARE OF INCOME FROM THE ADS THEY PLACE ON THE BLOGS, THEY GIVE THE BLOGS FREE HOSTING INSTEAD.

To off-set the costs of providing free hosting to millions of bloggers, WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read the advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all.

    10. Advertisements. Automattic reserves the right to display advertisements on your blog unless you have purchased an Ad-free Upgrade or a VIP Services account. http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds http://www.wordads.co/ no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. Paid content and/or sponsored content is not allowed.
