How to show author name different than administrator

  I’ve searched but can’t find an answer to this. I want to post on my blog using a name other than my user name, which is the same as the blog. I’d like to use my first name instead. So I changed my nickname to reflect that… but when I post, it still shows the item being authored by my user name. What am I doing wrong?

  It doesn’t change retroactively. And it’s actually a two-step process:

  Fill in Nickname of your choosing, Save Updates.
  Go back and from the drop-down menu, choose that nickname you just put in. Save Updates.

  I guess they don’t want anyone using a hasty nickname or something.

  You’re welcome. I teach blogging, so I run into this at least four times a week.
