How to show only 1 post on Disclaimer Page

  Hi, I would like to show only one post on the disclaimer page which is not the Home Page. Could anyone please assist me? I am running The Twenty Eleven Theme. Many thanks

  Posts and Pages are not the same. Static pages cannot update with any new content automatically the way the front page does.

  @TT – the part that confuses me is that at the bottom of the Disclaimer Page there is this Post also; http://nairobistocktechnicians.wordpress.com/2014/01/13/predicting-2014-at-the-nse-sort-of-anyway/

  page down to the bottom of the disclaimer – looks like a Post to me

  As usual, timethief thinks it’s either her or staff… The “Disclaimer” page is displaying your Recent Posts because you have selected the showcase template for it. Edit the page, select the sidebar template or the default template from the Template pulldown, click Update.

  Thanks Panos, I don’t do much with Themes and just use the stock basic page types on my site, I did set up a site for a friend and they wanted a “web site” so I used the wide page option with no sidebar

  Thanks for the suggestion re: updating my comment. I’ll use this wording instead from here on out.

  I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance because I do not know how to help you.   Thank you all for your replies and responses. Its true the template was set to Showcase template. I have adjusted it to the default template and it has worked It looks like this now Thank you Timethief, AuxClass and Justpi for making time to help out
