How to show only first sentences of entry in main page of blog?

  Hi, I have not been able to make my blog to just show a few sentences from each entry on the fron page so it won´t be so difficult to view more content at a glace. Where is that function? I´ve tried everything thar remotely sounded useful, but no success. thanks

  When I used the splitting content procedure, ALL content from that point downwards was transferred to a second page, including several different unrelated items.

  Something is missing: Is there HTML code to place under the “Continue Reading” line?

  You insert “the more tag” into the ext wherever you want the split to occur. Do not insert it into a blockquoted section or into an ordered or unordered list. Aside from those do nots, wherever you insert it is where the split will occur.
