How to show only parent category in URL?

    I have my permalink structure set to “/%category%/%postname%/”

    • My post URL’s are showing: “www.my-domain.com/parent-cat/child-cat/post-name/”
    • But I what it to be “www.my-domain.com/parent-cat/post-name/”

    Can someone help me with this? Thank you very much :)
