how to show only the first paragraph of my post?

  i’ve been browsing other blogs, and i noticed that they only show the first few paragraphs (introduction) of their posts. now i want this on my blog so that i can monitor how many views a certain post have. can anyone help me with this?

  Deleted rudeness by rkdem2004. If they still have an issue, I would suggest 1) learning some manners and 2) learn to answer questions posed to them.

  And deleted some more by rkdem2004. If they would like to ask a question, they are free to do so but do note that they have to realize politeness and responsiveness with get replies. Ignoring those trying to help them and being rude about it will not.

  Do note that the poster is coming in from one of those “I’m sure it’s not my ISP” ISPs from the other thread.
