How to show subscribers?

Hi. Is there a way to publicly show the images (pictures) of the people who are subscribed to my blog?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog linked to your username is a wordpress.com blog but it’s empty. If it’s a wordpress.COM blog that you are referring to there is no automatic wasy to do what you want.

There is a manual way to do this only. You can link to the images of your subscribers and keep it updated. If you have just a few subscribers then this is easy but can be tough with more people.

    Scott,
Can you tell me what the manual was is to do it? The blogs are for my students.
    Thanks!

You would make a post/page and post their images. The images would be linked to their profile.

@scott, we really need to determine if they are in the right forum first off since in the majority of cases what can be done here, and what can be done on self-hosted wordpress blogs is entirely different, and what takes a ton of work here to work around the limitations can be done with a simple plugin in a self-hosted blog. It is better to find out if they are hosted here or not so that if not, we can get them to the correct forum where they can get appropriate help.

I think Scott is just talking about hand-coding this. And yeah, it’s an awful lot of work.

    @nutritionalrehab
All those with wordpress.ORG installs who use Akismet and/or the WordPress stats plugins require wordpress.COM Accounts for their API keys so this creates a flow of bloggers who are lost. They are, of course, mixed in with those who are bloggers who have wordpress.COM blogs only. Some days 30% of those who post to this forum ought to be posting to wordpress.ORG support forums so if you aren’t clear about the differences please read this. > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

If ypou are referring to a wordpress.COM blog what I said above stands. There is not automatic and easy way to do what you want. Support for wordpress.ORG installs is found here http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If and only if you are referring to a wordpress.ORG install please seek help in the plogins forum here > http://wordpress.org/support/forum/plugins-and-hacks

Support for those with free blogs from being free hosted by wordpress.COM is found here on this peer support forum. There is no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs hence we cannot use plugins and that means you will have to use a workaround.

    1. The wordpress.com blog subscription feature is relatively new and previous to its introduction some wordpress.COM bloggers used Feedburner for email subscriptions. Most of those bloggers are still using Feedburner. Some use the wordpress.com blog subscription feature, and some do not.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-subscriptions/

    2. Those who choose to subscribe to wordpress.COM blogs by feed reader are unknown to us at wordpress.COM.

    3. The subscribers wordpress.COM bloggers are aware of are those who subscribe using the wordpress.COM blog subsciption feature.

Some subscribers have wordpress.COM avatars/ gravatars. Some have Blogger (Google) avatars, and some subscribers do not have either.

Any wordpress.COM blogger could capture images of the subscribers that are known to them, resize them, creat an HTML table to place them in either in a text widget or on a static page, and the images link back to their profiles or blogs. But offering that solution before I even knew whether or not you are refering to a wordpress.COM blog and you have chosen to use the wordpress.COM blog subscription feature, and you are willing to undertake the workaround and update it made no sense to me when I first post and makes no sense now.

Re: wordpress.COM blog subsciption feature and finding out who has subscribed to your blog > Dashboard > Blog Stats > Email Subscribers
Scroll down to the very bottom of the page
Click > “Active” for a list. (Note that those who subscribe by way of feed readers will NOT be found in that list. )
