How to Show Tumbnails (image) in Recent Post

  Is there any method to show Image (tumbnails) in the recent post? if im using Display WordPress Posts widget, i have to insert featured image in every post i made.. is there any method to show tumbnails from image in my post (without set the featured image)? Thank you :)
