how to show users

Hi, I’m a beginner in blogging and I’ve got a (maybe) stupid and simple question:
I invited some people to the blog and they accepted. But if I visit the blog site, nowhere is displayed that there are some users attached to my blog. What’s this?
Does it depend on the theme I am using? (Theme is ‘Truly minimal’)
Or does it depend on the user status of them? (I gave them user state ‘author’)If someone can help: great!! :-)

Have they accepted the invitations and registered username accounts, assuming they did not have one?

They will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If they are logged into their WordPress.com account, they will be taken directly to your blog. If not, they will be taken to the log-in screen, where they can either log in or create a new user account.
Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.

Hi timethief, thanks for your reply. Yes, they did, I think. I tried it by myself a few minutes ago.
– l got the invitation email
– I accepted
– I logged in registrating a new wordpress account
– I pressed ‘accept’ again
And now I see my new avatar in the dashboard as like all the other users, but this doesn’t appear on the blog site, too.
Not in the side bar, nowhere. And I find no option in the theme to show the users or the numbers of users at least…

Hi, thanks for the follow up and your hint to the solution: it was simple: I didn’t add the right widget. Now I added the ‘Author’ widget and everything works fine :-)
