How to sign in when posting a comment on other blogs

  I hope this isn’t too dumb of a question. When I am leaving a comment on someone else blog and it asks me “Comment As”. I click on WordPress and it shows http :// username.wordpress.com (no space of course) Am I using my blog name or my sign in name? I have tried both with no luck.
  Thanks for any help you can give me.

  Blogger blogs can be very difficult to post comments on. It all depends on hoe the blogger has set thee commenting options up. When there is a choice of:
  Username
  URL
  I have no problems commenting. However, if they use the “wordpress” setting the Blogger software assumes my blog is timethief.wordpress.com when I deleted that blog years ago. It will not accept my domain names when I type them in. OpendID has proven to fail me over and over again so unless the blogger has the
  Username
  URL
  options I don’t bother trying to comment on Blogger blogs.
