  I have a domain and hosting and want to use WordPress for building my website, how can I do?

  Hi,

  You will need a paid WordPress plan to use your domain and hosting on WordPress.

  WordPress bills yearly not monthly.

  You can choose to either map or transfer your domain to WordPress.

  Hi there!

  To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

  We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

  You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:

  That said, if you have already purchased hosting somewhere else, you do not need WordPress.com, you would need to download the software from WordPress.org.
  If, however, you’d like to create your site specifically on WordPress.com (it will be hosted with us), then you’d want to purchase one of our plans, as @ryrhino00 mentioned above.
