Hi,
You will need a paid WordPress plan to use your domain and hosting on WordPress.

WordPress bills
yearlynot monthly. You can choose to either map or transfer your domain to WordPress.

Hi there!
To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
That said, if you have already purchased hosting somewhere else, you do not need WordPress.com, you would need to download the software from WordPress.org.
If, however, you’d like to create your site specifically on WordPress.com (it will be hosted with us), then you’d want to purchase one of our plans, as @ryrhino00 mentioned above.I hope that makes sense, let me know if you have more doubts.
@ryrhino00 – please also let us know if you still have doubts about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
