How to start a new paragraph after photo?

Hi,

I hope you can help me…

Let’s say I inserted an image onto the page, and have text next to the image. The image is aligned left, and the text is to the right of the image.

The amount of text does not cover the height of the image.

I’d like to begin a new paragraph/section. How can I do that WITHOUT changing the size of the image.

If I use </br>, that works in Safari, but in other browser, it just gives me extra space between the photo and the next paragraph.

Is there a better way of doing this?

Please help, and thank you so much for your advice!

If you want more blank space between paragraphs, you cannot do it by pressing return repeatedly, because the HTML web standard is no multiple line breaks (no multiple spaces either). See here please > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/category/line-breaks/

What I did now is, to repeately use the HTML-code “
” to create empty lines. Combine this with putting the picture and the corresponding text in a div-container, then it *almost* looks good. You can check out my newest post, “Food Diary Pt. I”, for an example.

What I couldn’t bring to work was, that the middle of the three pictures was aligned to the right and the text would have been to it’s left. That messed up everything after as well.

You don’t need all that. All you need is this:

IMAGE1 CODE - TEXT1
<br style="clear:both;" />
IMAGE2 CODE - TEXT2
<br style="clear:both;" />
IMAGE3 CODE - TEXT3
```
For middle image to the right, just change “alignleft” to “alignright”.
