How to start a post

Hi all, This is my first blog creation on here.I got the themes set up etc.But when my friends go on it, there isnt a place to start posting.I only see my welcome post and comments.there isn’t a form to beging posting unless im doing it wrong.

If you’re logging in to wordpress.com you’ll see a blue menu on the top of the page that has a “New Post” option.

Also, when you login from your blog, the first page you’ll see is what’s called the Dashboard. On that page is a link labeled “Write a Post” near the upper left. Click on that and you’ll be brought to the page to write a Post.
But when my friends go on it, there isnt a place to start posting.
When I see this, it looks like you’re wanting your friends to also be posting. Is this correct? If so, you have to add them to your blog first. They have to have accounts here at wp.com first though and give you their email address that they signed up for. Then you can add them at Dashboard -> Users. WordPress has different levels of access you can assign. You can read about them here. If you’re going to be the only one posting, then don’t worry about that. :)
