How to start a site

    I have a domain name and I am hosting it on site ground. I want to start this site and scale up to other, more complex sites and then create a small business making sites. I planned on using wordpress but now I am seeing that it will charge me money. What would be the best move for me to make now?

    Did I understand correctly that your ultimate goal is to create sites for others on WordPress.com? If so, you will likely need to upgrade those sites to use features that your client is asking for. You can read more details about our paid plans here:

    You can also create free sites but you wouldn’t be able to use them with custom domains and there will de other limitations as well.
