How to start a WordPress site without standard Hever theme?

  The problem lies with when it starts with Hever, it keeps many of the elements from Hever, and I can’t get the elements from another Theme to work immediately.

  I have to clarify that I would like to start the site with the Theme I want, because when you want to change the theme, it just keeps images and other items from the ‘default’ theme, instead of just of just cleanly using the ‘new’ theme as a template. I hope that makes sense.
