How to start? I don't understand anything.

What do you call a theme and what do you call a header? I try to change the main picture on the top of the page, upload a new header but nothing changes and the picture appears nowhere. It looks like I won’t be able to use this site, it’s too complicated.

Don’t give up just yet. It takes some time to get used to everything. I am not completely comfortable myself, but make it a task each day to learn something new about how things work.

The theme you are currently using is called Penscratch. To become more comfortable with how things work with that particular theme, I would recommend looking around here:
