How to stay logged in for longer?
-
I’d like to extend my login time to days or weeks (similar to gmail, which leaves me logged in as long as I want including through reboots and browser restarts). Even when I click “remember me” on the login screen, I’m logged out in 24 hours or less. This is a pain and I’d like ot change it. Is there anything I can do, either as an admin or something like finding the login cookie and adjusting the parameters?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It used to be that you would stay logged in till you logged out as I remember, but staff changed that for security reasons I think on version 3.1. or 3.2 of wordpress. That is/was a decision of the wordpress core developers and is not something that we users can change.

I’m not sure. I thought it might be my browser too, but other sites keep me logged in so the problem is on WP’s side.

I choose to log-in and out rather than remaining permanently logged in anywhere. I don’t want anyone who may use my computer (GOB forbid) to be automatically logged in under my accounts.
