How to stop Data not Received message.

    I am having tremendous problems getting into sites to comments, including my own. Whether I go in by clicking the link in a message, via WordPress.com or by barsetshirediaries I am hitting the message Data Not Received.
    I have removed and reinstated Google Chrome, have cleared cache and history but nothing works. There seems to be no reason for it. Can you help? ( Windows Vista).
