How to stop domain mapping?
-
Hello,
I have been using wordpress.COM and installed domain mapping for a nottherealdomain.nl domain.
I am now moving to wordpress.ORG. I want the nottherealdomain.nl to point to my new worpress.org setup. It keeps point back to the wordpress.COM website.
I cannot seem to end or re-direct the domain mapping on the wordpress.COM. How do I fix this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi squareband,
There are no domain mapping upgrades connecting to nottherealdomain.nl to WordPress.com — this domain isn’t currently registered. Can you double check there are no typos in the one you provided?
If nottherealdomain.nl is correct and you wish to use the domain, it will need to be registered first.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,
Thanks for replying.
The URL is http://www.squareband.nl. I used the nottherealdomain.nl as an example :-)
I hope you can help me further.

I am seeing that domain point to a landing page for your webhost. Be advised that it can take up to 72 hours for DNS changes to propagate through the internet. Your browser may also be using a cached version of the page.
