How to stop getting email notifications of likes on my comments on other sites

Every time someone likes a comment I’ve left on another site, I get a notification by email. I did a search and I found an answer in these forums advising changing the settings on the following page.

    https://wordpress.com/me/notifications

So I went to the page and completed the settings for both my blogs (a WordPress.org blog and a WordPress.com one), but I still kept getting notifications. I did it again, but still I receive notifications.

My email is almost unusable now because all the important stuff is buried under hundreds of unnecessary notifications. I know I must be doing something wrong, but I can’t work out what it is.

I’d be so grateful for any light you could shed on this frustrating problem. Thanks.

This is something I’m interested in well. Thanks for linking to the me/notifications page – I was unaware of it.

I noticed there were several tabs on that page beyond my own blogs:
Notifications, Comments, Update, and Reader Subscriptions. I think what you’re looking for is on the Comments tab not the notifications tab. There are options there to stop notifications on likes and replies to your comments on other sites.
