How to stop search engines indexing and visiting your blog?

  I know on a webpage one can include a HTML code to stop search engines indexing and even visiting the site.

  Today I like to find out whether this is also possible with a WordPress blog?
  And where exactly would I be putting in the HTML code?

  Thanks for your help with this.

  Hi,

  With WordPress you can set the visibility option to exclude search engine crawlers, see details here:
