How to stop sending followers new blog emails?

  Hi, how do you stop wordpress automatically sending followers an email notifying them I’ve written a new blog? The reason being, I often publish blogs when they’re incomplete to see how they look (I know I can preview,) but I want to see if the facebook button is sharing properly and how the featured image looks.

  And that’s the other problem I have: when I change a post title or featured image, the facebook button stops sharing it correctly. Sometimes it shares it with the old title/photo and sometimes it breaks the link. How can I overcome this problem?

  Don’t publish them. That’s your choice. When you hit Publish, out they go.

  You could create a completely separate blog, not do any promotion on it, not use the Subscription widget, and test posts there, then delete them.

  Yes, when you change a featured image, post title, or post slug, that will cause problems. Do not use Publicize if you do those things. Share only manually. And nothing can help if you change the post slug, ie the link, after publishing. Don’t do that.
