How to stop subsciption forms in my blog posts

A few weeks ago, some subscription boxes appeared in my blog posts. They look like ads and I didn’t add them in. I have no idea how to remove them but I really want to. Any ideas?

We can’t be much of a help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com. I don’t see any subscription forms on your site, except for MailChimp. Check you browser for malware and adware.

  • Hello there,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

As @staartmees mentioned, the site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com. You can verify that here: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/https://flyingfluskey.com.

You can find your current hosting contact information under the Hosting Information tab. Please share the details about the issue with them, and they should be able to help you better.

I checked your post and didn’t notice anything unusual on our end. It looks like you have the Jetpack plugin installed on your site. If your current hosting provider doesn’t offer a scanning option, you can use Jetpack Scan instead.

Just so you know, I have sent some additional information to your email address. Please check it and reply to us there if you have any further questions.
