How to stop text editor turning & into ∧ in url
-
Hello,
I’m trying to embed a url in shortcode in the text editor but it automatically converts every “&” into the HTML character code “&”, which makes the url unusable. Is there any way to stop this happening?
Many thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Michael,
Can you tell me which post you need help on? To get around this, you’ll need to substitute “&” with “&” such as in the following example:
http://www.test.com/test.php?id=55&set=9http://www.test.com/test.php?id=55&set=9http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/#troubleshooting
Note that if you attempt to edit the link, you may need to substitute the “&” again.
Cheers!

Many thanks for your help. For some reason the “&” remains in the url in my browser. I’ve managed to get round it by making a shortened url that contains no ampersands.
