How to stop the facebook share bottom from sharing deleted text.

I am using twenty twelve for http://artstudiotour.ca/, when we click share at the bottom of a page to put on fb it posts the top few lines, which include our address, which some of the artists don’t like. When I tried taking the address right off the page, updated and then clicked share on fb and the address still appeared on the fb post. I have cleared the cache and deleted the cookies and still it shows. What can I do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

Can you please give me the link to the page where this is happening? I’d be happy to take a further look!

    Cheers!

I finally tracked down how to fix it, which was debugging each page by entering the URL’s into https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug#_=_
    and clicking ‘debug’.
    Presto, fixed.
But the only way that I can see to control the text that fb grabs is by the layout of the page. There are 2 that I am struggling with because they don’t have a bio that I can put before the address of their studios so I put a photo but fb is still grabbing the address. You can see them at http://artstudiotour.ca/artist/artists-by-name/craig-speirs/ and http://artstudiotour.ca/artist/artists-by-name/daryl-stephenson/. If you click share on fb at the bottom you will see that the addresses come up. I was deleting them before posting but then if someone shares from my fb post, the addresses pop up again.
Sorry this is a rambler, hope it makes sense.

    Hi there,

Please note that we don’t have any control over what Facebook grabs for sharing. We send all the information and they choose what it pulled for sharing. The debugger tool is a great way to see what is being pulled.

As for pulling a bio – I don’t see a bio in the post itself – just the addresses. So for the description, FB will pull text and since the address is the only text in the post that is what it’s pulling. If you don’t want the address there please take it out. Then, place the link to the post in the debugger and try re-sharing the post.
