  How to stop WordPress from emailing subscribers when we post – is there a way to turn-off some part of wordpress so that when we post an post it doesn’t get sent to our subscribers?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You used to be able to create a Private post and when you set it to Public it wouldn’t go out on an email, but I have heard that no longer works.
