Hi Elizazh,
Thank You for the speedy reply, Sorry for the my late late reply, too busy…eh. Anyway the site is not online yet. Being perfectly bilingual english / french, i don’t need translation. what i need is a simple english / french “switch “. An english and a french page, one of each. Simple, no translation or interpretation errors. For the construction of the site no problem ALL the resources needed have already been found / purchased: Generate press , Beaver Builder, Slider Revolution etc… We are leaving Linkeo… in 1 year ( too too late) so i’ll have plenty of time to ” f ” around with the new site before it goes on line at Site Ground. Built a test site using Customizr, no problem. Only hiccup is the english / french” switch ”
Thank You
Best Regards -
Hi @moob59,
Please look at the option 2 from the guide I previously sent: Option 2: One Site, Two Posts. It will direct you how to create the content yourself in different languages and add links pointing to the other language (i.e. language switch).
Let me know if that works for you.
Cheers

Hi Elizazh,
Starting Monday July 19th it’s a 2 week WordPress Blitz (finally, lol).
All the kids (inside joke… i can explain later if you’re interested…) have been put to bed… So now i can start building ” Verger de la Savane ” 2.0. The old one was built & is hosted by Linkeo :( . Being sharp as you seem to be i’m sure you’ll check out the old (present) site & Linkeo :( . For the Verger de la Savane 2.0 website i’ll be offering / presenting the Customizr (my choice) theme and the GeneratePress Premium one. The new website will be hosted with SiteGround.Further more i have the following plug ins: Beaver Builder Standard, Envira Gallery Pro and Slider Revolution ( don’t know if it is site specific ?)
1 – Of these 2 themes which one would you favor ?
2 – Is Customizr Pro worth it ?
3 – Can i use the above plug ins with either of these themes ?Obviously more questions will follow… lol.
ALL observations and suggestions will be greatly appreciated !
Looking forward to your reply.Thank You
for your
patience, insight and experience.Best Regards

Hi @moob59,
Usually I just use a very basic bootstrap theme and I customize it myself by editing or adding code whenever I need it. However, this doesn’t work for many people who need more UI based solutions for customization. Therefore I cannot be of much help by recommending either of these themes because I haven’t used them. I would suggest that you read the documentation for both themes and pick the one that fits your needs.
I’ve worked with Beaver and Slider Revolution and I’ve never experienced any difficulties using them with specific themes. However, since your website will not be hosted here you may find WordPress.org forums a more helpful place to ask your questions.
I wish you the best of luck!
