How to switch from the old Coraline to the updated version?
-
I want to experiment with switching my blog from the old Coraline to the updated version. I went through the process of switching to what I thought was the upgraded version, because I want three columns instead of two, but it still looks just like the old version and under options, only two columns are offered. How do I switch to the upgraded version?
I’m at politicworm.com
thanks, Stephanie

I keep getting the same old image, with no way to see what it would look like with three columns.

Take a look at http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/coraline/ and scroll down to “Multiple Layouts and Color Schemes”
There you’ll see all the available layouts, including the three-column layouts.

Yes, I see them, but I don’t see any means for installing the three column choice in my present two column blog.
On my computer I see no button or anything else that will turn this on. I’ve gone through the widgets in my theme. I use the Primary widget area for most of my widgets. I tried to put one or two into the Secondary widget area and the Feature widget area, but nothing happened.
On the example there’s something called a sticky note. I don’t see this among the widget options, or anything that looks like it.
thanks,

For three columns, select one of the three column options (Content-Sidebar-Sidebar, Sidebar-Sidebar-Content, or Sidebar-Content-Sidebar) at Appearance -> Theme Options in your blog’s Dashboard.
