How to switch off the 'comment form'?

    Hi everybody,

    I need help with the following problem:
    Under each page there is a box, saying LEAVE A REPLY.
    Below that visitors can enter a comment.

    I want to switch this off, but I don’t know how. I’ve already tried switching it off by going to my dashboard > discussion page, but it didn’t work.

    Hi. The only way I know how to disable comments is to go to Posts from your Dashboard, choose the one you want to work with by clicking Quick Edit. There are two boxes over to the right that will be checked; one is Allow Comments, the other is Allow Pings. Uncheck either or both. :)
