How to talk to a real person–I do have a paid plan!

  I cannot gain access to my account. This is probably because WordPress has an old credit card number on file that was not updated. I need to talk to a real person to fix this, but cannot find any way to do that. Where do I go from here?

  WordPress keeps saying expert human support on paid plans. Well I have a paid plan. I’ve been paying for years. And yet I can’t find any way to talk to a real person.

  If and only if you have a paid plan over here on the wordpress.com platform, you must use the Transaction ID to restore access to your account as described at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#transaction-id
