How to track a stalker
-
I have a stalker, but I need proof that he’s stalking my blog. How can I track whether or not it’s him? I need to give proof to the FBI

Are you receiving harassing comments from this individual?
If so, the best thing to do would be to compare IP addresses of the comments: https://wordpress.com/support/manage-comments/#additional-user-information

Unfortunately, there are no comments. I assume it’s him by the way he accesses my account (directly typing in my address, as opposed to using the link on Facebook. He’s one of 4 people who does it that way, and two have told me that they haven’t done so in a long time. I was in a domestic violence shelter because of this guy. Abuse escalates. I’m afraid he will hurt me, and I’m trying to gather proof that he is cyber stalking me so I can get the authorities involved. I would really rather not be murdered by this guy.

I wouldn’t consider directly visiting a URL to be a sign that this is your stalker.
Please keep in mind that many ad/tracker blockers, and browsers themselves, can filter out referrer records, making it appear that the site is visited directly in your stats.
I recommend speaking to the authorities for sure, and to be safe, you might want to consider making your site private and only accessible to trusted friends: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

I’ve created another blog. This made me really sad because I will have to abandon this one, which I’ve had for 8 years. But, nobody seems willing to help me.
I have contacted the police, and they can’t do anything without proof. I was hoping that WordPress would care about my (very literal) life and that they would help me out with this, but if that’s not a concern of this company, that’s good to know.

Would you please email us at
