How to transfer Blogger blog to WordPress
-
Hi people!
I need some help in regards to moving from Blogger to WordPress. I have this site http://www.giantgamer.com/, which I would like to move over to WordPress. I bought the custom domain from GoDaddy about two months ago and would love a step-by-step tutorial on how to transfer the site. Will I also lose my pageviews if I transfer over to WordPress?
Help will be appreciated!

I just posted a tutorial from wordpress.org. I am not sure if that will help. Sorry. I will keep looking…

We don’t provide any support for WordPress.ORG software here at WordPress.COM. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers. -

It’s okay I just wanted to be sure this blogger knows he needs to register a WordPress.org account. When we don’t do that they return and then their friends show up here seeking support too. The best way to deal with this is to make the differences clear and the need to register a WordPress.ORG account up front.

Sorry for the inconvenience timethief! I do have a wordpress.com account and have two blogs (http://millzy117.wordpress.com/ and https://ryanmillsvideogameblog.wordpress.com/). I was just asking as I’m not overly experienced with WordPress. As I own a custom domain on my blogger account, should I simply pay $13 to map the wordpress blog to the domain and “redirect” the original giantgamer to the new site and import the posts etc over? Do I also need to pay for hosting to install themes? I know this isn’t the right place to post these questions but help would be really appreciated.
