how to transfer domain from bandzoogle to wordpress

  Hi there, would you please tell me how to transfer my domain name? I own it and am not in a contract. Thanks, AW

  Hi there, as far as I know, WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain transfers. There is a domain mapping upgrade available though. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  So, I would not be able to use my own domain name on the WP site? Hmm… that seems odd. I must’ve not made myself clear in my question.

  I currently have a website over at Bandzoogle. The own the domain name. I just want to use that domain name at WP instead of at BZ. The content itself doesn’t need to be transferred. Thanks!

  Of course, you can! You can map the domain to WordPress.com ( http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ ) and this way you can use your OWN domain with WordPress.com.
