How to transfer domain name from wordpress to new host

  I started to set up a blog on wordpress with a URL domain name also purchased on wordpress. I have decided not to use wordpress to host the blog after all. I can’t figure out how I contact the registrar and change the name server and delete the wordpress blog. I have no idea what page I can find that information on. Please help!

  Regarding deleting the wordpress blog, you can check https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ and https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  please read carefully, because:

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).
