how to transfer domian?

  Hi there! I want to start WordPress Site, But don’t want to buy a new domain, I have already have a domain that i bought two month ago, I need to know that how can I transfer my domain from Namecheap to WordPress.com.

  You don’t necessarily need to transfer your domain. You can use domain mapping instead.

  Mapping allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  In order to have your domain be your primary domain after you transfer in the domain you also need a paid plan. Otherwise your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL.
